Dr. HC John Lee is a Visiting Research Scholar of the Mechanical Engineering Department. Dr. Lee joined the State University of NewYork - Binghamton in January 2003. His teaching experience includes calculus, heat transfer, vibrations and solid mechanics. His employment experience includes lubrications, dynamic analysis of printer components through mathematical modeling and computer programming, analysis of drop formation as applied in inkjet printing, electrophotographic image processing, color conversion schemes, and development and analysis of optical collimators as applied to flat panel (liquid crystal) displays. He received his Ph.D. and MME in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1962 and 1959 respectively and received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport in 1957.

He has 29 publications in professional journals and holds 26 patents.
